DECATUR, OHIO -- A 9-year-old boy is in critical condition after an accidental shooting at his home in Brown County.
According to Cincinnati NBC-affiliate WLWT, Sebastian Swartz was playing with the gun when his 13-year-old sister found him and attempted to take it away. The gun went off and shot Swartz in the head.
The boy was airlifted to Cincinnati Children's Hospital in critical condition on Monday night. WLWT reports Brown County authorities are expected to release more information about the shooting on Tuesday afternoon.
