TOLEDO -- Strong winds wreaked havoc in various parts of town Monday, bringing down trees and even parts of a building in Toledo.

The winds knocked down bricks and part of the roof off the former Caesar's Show Bar on Jefferson Ave. in downtown Toledo. No one was hurt but officials closed the roadway between Erie and Ontario while crews inspected the structure.

Toledo Police Sgt. Joe Heffernan says the roadway will be closed indefinitely.

High winds also broke apart a large tree along Secor Rd. in West Toledo late Monday morning. The tree stood in the front yard of a home near Kenwood. No one was hurt when winds brought part of the tree down.
