Grocery store thieves thwarted in Upper Sandusky

Two people from Kenton have been charged with the armed robbery of an Upper Sandusky grocery store on Saturday night.

According to the police report, Casey Shoop and Mercedes Shoop robbed Wilson’s Grocery on east Wyandot Avenue at gunpoint just before 7 p.m.

Police found the two near the location and both are currently behind bars on aggravated robbery and complicity to aggravated robbery charges.
