LAKE TWP. -- Two men are behind bars in Wood County after a cocaine bust on the Ohio Turnpike.
Troopers pulled over their car for a lanes violation Wednesday morning in Lake Township.
A K-9 unit alert them to the vehicle and during the search troopers uncovered a kilo of cocaine worth about $100,000 on the street.
29-year-old Robert Hammond, of Akron, and 45-year-old Eric Strickland of Chicago, were taken to the Wood County Jail and charged with drug abuse and trafficking in drugs, both first-degree felonies.
If convicted each faces up to 20 years in prison and up to a $40,000 fine.
