TOLEDO -- Property crimes are a problem in nearly every Toledo neighborhood, but in one West Toledo neighborhood residents are blaming illicit drugs.  According to resident Tina Scott, one drug in particular-heroin.  "Heroin is a big drug right now, it's a cheap drug and these people will go to any lengths to to get the $10 or $15 to get their next high," Ms. Scott said.  Scott has spoken to a number of people in her neighborhood who have had either their cars or homes broken into.  "A lot of break-ins are happening, I myself was broken into and the lady across the street a couple days later," Ms. Scott said.

Scott is attempting to organize a community meeting in the spring with residents and law enforcement to talk about what can be doen to address the problem.
