Two vehicles collided on State Route 51 near Fostoria Road on Thursday, sending 2 seniors and a Clyde woman to the hospital.
According to the Sandusky Highway Patrol post, 31-year-old Evelyn Earhart was traveling northwest when her vehicle went left of center, striking another car head on. Earhart sustained serious injuries and had to be extricated from her vehicle. She was then air lifted to a local hospital.
Troopers report Earhart was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and alcohol is not a factor.
The couple in the other vehicle, Rose and Robert Fay, both 67, sustained minor injuries and were treated at an area hospital. Troopers say both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
