Antiques Roadshow announces 2013 tour stops

DETROIT -- Search your basement, your attic and your garage because you might have a hidden treasure you didn't even know about.
Television shows like Detroit's 'Hardcore Pawn' and 'Pawn Stars' from Las Vegas have people searching everywhere, including weekend garage sales, to try and make a quick buck. Now one of the originals is making a stop in our area.
The popular PBS program "Antiques Roadshow" announced it's 2013 tour stops and the first location is Detroit.
PBS says the show will embark on an eight-city tour this summer. Programs taped during the tour will make up the show's 18th season. The episodes will premiere in January 2014.
The show features local appraisal events at which some of the nation's top experts offer free evaluations of antiques and collectibles.
Other "Antiques Roadshow" summer tour venues include Jacksonville, Fla., Anaheim, Calif., and Baton Rouge, La.
The Detroit stop is set for June 1 and the location has yet to be released.
