Real warmth holds off til Friday

Sunshine will be with us again today as we begin the gradual warm-up that will melt the snow away.  High clouds will filter that sunshine from time to time - but I'll still classify skies as mostly sunny.  Highs get into the upper 30's.

Overnight will be partly cloudy and mild with lows near 30 and a pretty stiff wind developing.  Wednesday offers more wind and sunshine.  Under mostly sunny skies and with winds gusting to 25 MPH highs jump into the mid 40's Wednesday afternoon.

A warm front heads our way late Thursday and will usher in dramatically warmer air for Friday and Saturday.  Showers develop Thursday afternoon and will continue into early Friday morning.  Once the front gets to our north we will see some partial clearing and highs climbing nearly 20 degrees above normal - into the lower 50's.  And we aren't done there as Saturday promises to be even warmer!

Enjoy all of this unseasonable warmth as we turn cold and snowy as soon as next Monday.
