Boston College coach Jerry York reached his 925th win on Saturday, setting the NCAA Hockey record for most career wins.

The 67-year-old York eclipsed the 924 wins set by former Bowling Green coach Ron Mason, with a 5-2 victory over Alabama-Huntsville in Minneapolis. York took over the reigns for Mason at BGSU in 1972, amassing 342 wins over 15 years with the Falcons. He coached Bowling Green to its lone championship in 1984.

York's 41-year coaching career has spanned three colleges, starting as a 26-year-old at Clarkson. He left Bowling Green in 1994 to coach at his alma mater Boston College, where he added four NCAA Division 1 championships and five Beanpot titles to his resume.
