TOLEDO -- With Christmas in the past, it's time to start thinking about what to do with your Christmas tree.

The City of Toledo Division of Parks, Recreation and Forestry has set up 6 location to accept your trees for recycling between December 26, 2012 and January 14, 2013 at no cost to residents.

All trees should be cleared of decorations, bags or other materials before drop off.

The trees will be ground into mulch by forestry crews.

Drop off sites include:
Jermain Park on Upton Avenue
Schneider Park on Schneider Road near South Detroit Avenue
Ravine II Park on Mott Street
Detwiler Park at Manhattan Boulevard and Summit Street
Bowman Park in the Laskey Road lot
Greenwood Park in the Darrell lot

All sites will be marked with signage indicating drop off points.

The City of Toledo does not provide curbside collection so you are asked to take your trees to one of the lots provided.
