Update: I-75 has now reopened after the early morning wrong way fatal accident near Ottawa River Road.

Original story: There has been a deadly wrong-way crash on southbound I-75, just south of Ottawa River Road (between exits 208 and 209).

Police say a car was driving the wrong way when they hit another car head-on.  One person has died and, at this time, one other is reported injured.  There is no word on that person's condition. 

I-75 southbound traffic is being diverted onto Alexis Road. You can get back on the expressway near Stickey and Expressway Drive.
