TOLEDO -- The All Saints Lutheran Church, located on 5445 Heatherdowns Boulevard, in Toledo, held it’s 18th annual drive-thru live nativity scene.

Located around the church’s parking lot are eight stations representing scenes, telling the Bible story of the nativity.

Drivers simply pull into the driveway, not even have to get out of their car, and take a tour around the parking lot, to watch the story unfold.

“It is our gift to the community,” Robert Krueger, the council president of All Saints Lutheran Church, “…we all enjoy doing it.”

The drive-thru nativity scene lasts only two nights. The final display is Sunday, December 16th from 6 p.m. - 8p.m.

Around 60 people are involved in performing all of the scenes. Around 800 to 900 cars are drive through during the two days of the nativity scene.

As for the future of the drive-thru nativity scene, Krueger explains, “Our plan is to keep doing this…We have been doing it for so long, it is just part of our history.”
