ARCHBOLD -- Police need your help catching suspects wanted in a rash of break - ins at churches in Michigan and Ohio.
"It sort of irritates you," bluntly explains Junior Rodgriguez.
That's the first thing that came to the minds of many members of Templo Christiano Church in Archbold. The next thought, "god have pity upon them," says Rodgriguez.
But police are asking you not to have pity on suspects in the thefts of the Archbold church and nearly fifty others dating back to August.
Church members of Templo Christiano Church show WNWO how the thieves broke into their church on October 12th.
They lifted a gate, prying open the basement windows, and once inside ransacked offices getting away with $1,000 in cash and a $800 dollar brand new laptop.
"I thought they could respect the church, but they still wanted to fulfill their habits," says church Pastor Misael Rodgriguez.
If you have any information on who's responsible for these church break-ins you're encouraged to call Crime Stoppers of Lenawee County at 517-266-6161.
