Toledo police confirm arrests have been made in connection to the robbery and homicide of a South Toledo gym owner last month.

According to court documents, 19-year-old Devonte Harris and 31-year-old Jason Kuhns have been charged with aggravated murder. A third suspect, 34-year-old Matthew Managhan, was charged with aggravated robbery. Documents filed in Toledo Municipal Court state Managhan "did organize, plan and participate" in the robbery of 57-year-old Joe Lengel, who was shot and killed during the incident.

On Nov. 19, police responded to CrossFit Toledo gym to find Lengel lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of two additional men in connection with the murder. Charges of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery have been filed against Deitrekk Boone, 19. Chad Brown, 35, faces a charge of aggravated robbery.

Bond was set at $1 million for both Harris and Kuhns and preliminary hearings scheduled for Dec. 13. Managhan is being held on a $500,000 bond and will return to court for his preliminary hearing on Dec. 14.
