SEATTLE -- The pocession of marijuana is officially legal in Washington State.

In November, voters in Washington and Colorado approved a measure making recreation use of marijuana legal.

Residents over 21 can now possess up to an ounce of pot, but the state law bans public use of marijuana, which is punishable by a fine, just like drinking in public. Driving under the influence is still illegal.
