The 2013 Dog License season begins Monday, along with the 2013 Lucas County Loves Dogs ownership card program, the vendor locator on the Lucas County website and the Lucas County auditor's Pick of the Litter Contest.

Ohio Law requires individuals to purchase an annual license for any dog three months or older. Dog licenses are $25 and can be purchased now through January 31, 2013. They can be obtained at the auditor’s office at One Government Center or the Lucas County Dog Warden's office at 410 S. Erie Street.

For more information, please visit the Auditor’s website at www.co.lucas.oh.us/auditor or call the Education and Outreach Department at (419) 213-4406.
