TOLEDO -- A glimmer of hope for hundreds of Hostess workers in Northwest Ohio.

The makers of Twinkies, Wonder Bread and other snacks says it's in talks with 110 potential buyers.

A financial advisor for the company told a bankruptcky court Thursday that the suitors include at least 5 national retailers and the potential buyers are serious.

The company is undergoing liquidation after the bakers union refused to budget on contract talks.

That led to 18,0000 workers, including more than 200 in Northwest Ohio to lose their jobs.
