ANN ARBOR -- An aspiring Grand Rapids, Michigan area rapper is accused of stealing a school bus and driving towards Motown to do some recording.

Josiah Curtis got as far as Washtenaw County where his erractic driving on I-94 caught the eye of other motorists who then called police.   The 25-year-old was stopped near Ann Arbor on Thanksgiving morning.

The sheriff's department says Curtis told arresting deputies he was trying to get to Detroit to work on some rap music.

Authorities say the bus was taken from a lot in Wyoming, southwest of Grand Rapids.

Curtis is being held on receiving and concealing stolen property charges.
