TOLEDO -- The record Powerball jackpot is getting even bigger.   The lottery says ticket sales over the past couple of days has pushed the jackpot to $500 million, up from $425 million.   That's a half a billion dollars.

A single winner choosing to take the lump sum payment would receive $327 million before taxes.

The jackpot is the largest ever for the Powerball game and the second largest lottery jackpot of all time.   The largest was $656 million for Mega Millions in March.

You have plenty of time to get your tickets.   The drawing is Wednesday night just before 11pm.

Your odds of winning are one in 175 million.  Good luck.
