OTTAWA LAKE -- Today, the 1st annual OH-varian Border Battle Bash was held to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Connection. The Bash was held at Michigan Technical Resource Park (MITRP) located at 8000 Yankee Road.

The Ovarian Cancer Connection is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with eight years of commitment to ovarian cancer awareness, education and research in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area.

The Ohio State v. Michigan games was broadcasted on two large projector screens beside a creative football buffet.

All profits raised, stay local for education, awareness, and research of ovarian cancer, as well as to financially support cancer survivors.

Jini Steinke, President of the Ovarian Cancer Connection, commented about the event, saying, “it turned out well. We had a great time…people were here to support us, also to enjoy the game.”
