J&R Contracting Disaster Solution services is hoping that a Twitter feed will help residents of a large condo fire stay updated on clean-up efforts.

The American Red Cross is also helping more than a dozen residents, many of which lost everything, impacted by a Thanksgiving Day fire at the Brandywine Condos.

Residents in 16 out of 28 units at the complex, on Byrnwyck West in Maumee, have been provided with food, clothing, shelter, and medical & emotional support.

Red Cross officials say the majority of the residents affected have places to stay with family or friends; three families are being housed in local hotels.

The disaster agency will continue to provide additional support to the affected families as their needs become more fully known.

If you would like to help the victims, the Red Cross says it always appreciates monetary donations.
