Happy Thanksgiving... gooble up warmth and sun while you can
Fog gives way to mostly sunny skies this morning and partly cloudy skies this afternoon. Highs get 15 to 20 degrees above normal with highs maxing out in the low and mid 60's on this delicious Thanksgiving.
Overnight a cold front approaches and will offer a few scattered showers. Lows fall into the mid 40's overnight.
Black Friday will turn windy and cold. Our high temps Friday will be early - in the mid 40's. The cold front slams the door on any pleasant temps early in the morning... after that, howling winds deliver colder temps for the remainder of the day. By Friday afternoon, with gusts from the NW to 35MPH temps will fall through the 30's with "feels like" temps plunging into the mid 20's. To add insult to injury we could even see some Lake Effect snow showers. Bundle up if your heading to the malls on Black Friday.
We could see a few more snow flurries Saturday morning. It will be a raw day with some wind and highs not getting above the mid 30's w/ windchills in the 20's. If your lucky enough to be heading to C'bus and The Battle at The Shoe layer it up and make sure you have your hat and mittens at the ready.
It doesn't get much warmer Sunday or next week. So be thankful for what Mother Nature is giving us today - we likely won't see more of the same til next spring.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
