Mostly sunny and warmer
The weather couldn't be better for your Thanksgiving Eve and Day as high pressure is our weathermaker and will promote plenty of sunshine. With light breezes from the southwest highs get into the upper 50's this afternoon. We'll become partly cloudy overnight with lows near 40 and be even warmer with more sunshine Thanksgiving Day with highs getting into the upper 50's and lower 60's.
A cold front heads our way late Thanksgiving Day and will cloud things up and deliver some wind towards evening. As we head through the overnight and into Friday morning scattered showers develop and as colder air arrives behind the cold front the winds will continue to howl and we'll see temps fall and some of those rain drops turn to snow flurries. We'll see early highs in the mid-40's on Friday with mostly cloudy skies, some snow flurries and wind.
The weekend begins with some travel for many on the way to the Big Game in C'bus on Saturday. If you find yourself heading to the game - layer it up/dress warmly as highs will not be getting much above the mid-30's. In addition to the chilly temps - we will be seeing wind and not much in the way of sunshine... so it will be a raw day to be outside. Take the same advice if you are headed out to the malls.
It looks like we'll see some sunshine Sunday - but it will remain on the chilly side. Expect more of the same next week.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving & Go Bucks!
