LENAWEE COUNTY, MICH. -- Nearly two years after three Morenci brothers went missing, officials are working to draw attention back to the case.

Andrew, Alexander, and Tanner Skelton were 9,7, and 5 years old, respectively, when they were last seen in the backyard of their father's home in Morenci, Mich. That was Thanksgiving Day 2010.

John Skelton pleaded no contest in 2011 to charges of unlawful imprisonment. He has said, since his 2010 arrest on parental kidnapping charges, that he did not harm his sons and that they were given to a friend. They were reported missing by their mother, Skelton's then estranged wife, Tanya Zuvers, after not being dropped off at her home.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has created age-progressed photos of Andrew, Alexander and Tanner. Though Monroe County officials shifted their focus in the case to that of a recovery, the boys' mother has said she will not give up hope of her sons returning home alive.

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call 1-800 -THE-LOST ( 1-800 -843 -5678).

John Skelton remains behind bars in Lenawee County. He fought unsuccessfully in June to appeal his sentence for pleading guilty to unlawful imprisonment. He is currently serving the maximum sentence of 10 to 15 years.
