Gradual warm-up coming down the pike

It's going to be another chilly day as the dense, cold airmass out of Canada continues to hang around.  We'll finally see some much appreciated sunshine, filtered at times by high, cirus clouds drifting in from the west.  Highs will top out in the lower 40's - a full 10 degrees below normal so dress warmly.

I'm forecasting clearing skies overnight and with light winds once again temps will dip down into the mid 20's.  Mostly sunny skies throughout the day Thursday will warm us up a tad with highs getting into the mid 40's.

Things will feel a lot better Friday and into the weekend as sunshine remains in the forecast and high temps get back to where they should be - into the upper 40's and lower 50's.

For those looking ahead to Thanksgiving travel the only blemish appears to be in the form of showers on Thanksgiving Eve.

Make it a great day!
