Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed, at 9:00 pm on Tuesday, that the eastbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike would re-open within 15 minutes after it was closed for an hour because of a fire.

Just before 8 p.m. the roadway was closed, just west of Toledo Express Airport and near Mile Marker 47, so that firefighters could extinguish a semi-truck fire in Swanton.

Dispatchers did not believe that anyone was injured in the fire.
