There’s a new place in Northwest Ohio for families of autistic children to go and get help and support. Promedica unveiled its new Autism Center at Toledo Children’s Hospital today.

The 92-hundred square foot facility includes a sensory playroom, Outdoor playground and a living skill center. The center makes it easier for the families to find the resources available to them. Catina Harding the Executive Director says that “There are 18 organizations working together and communicating to make sure the families can get the help they need.”

There will be a community open house held on Sunday from 1p.m. to 3p.m. at the center. It’s located at 2042 West Central Avenue.
