TOLEDO -- Toledo's rockets will be represented at Comerica Park when the Detroit Tigers take the field for Game 3 of the World Series.

Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal win don a UT Rockets bow tie to benefit the Dana Cancer Center for Game 3 against the San Francisco Giants.

Earlier this year, the University of Toledo partnered with BowTie Cause to create a signature bow tie for the Tie One On bow tie event at a UT Mens' basketball game. Coaches and fans in the stands tied one to raise awareness for prostate cancer.

In the past few weeks, Rockets fans came together and voted to send UT's famous bow tie to the World Series. Organizations from across the country put their bow ties up for a vote in the World Series BowTie Challenge, all for a chance to have Rosenthal wear their tie during Major League Baseball's championship series.

Throughout the 2011 and 2012 MLB seasons, Rosenthal has rocked several BowTies to raise awareness for different charities.

Coming in first with the most votes was the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in second place, UT in third, the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in fourth place, followed by Will to Live, the Alzheimer's Association, and JDRF.

Rosenthal's World Series Game 3 tie will benefit the University of Toledo Dana Cancer Center.

You can help Tie-One-On for Cancer  and support UT's Dana Cancer Center by purchasing a UT Rockets bowtie. With your purchase of the bowtie, a portion of the proceeds will go towards prostate cancer research.

WNWO will air a Sports special "A Tigers Tale: Destiny in Detroit" at 7:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
