The number of cars that have been shot at by a mysterious gunman near Detroit now stands at 22, according to Detroit NBC affiliate WDIV.

Over the weekend, police released a sketch of the man believed to be involved in one of the incidents in Ingham County.

Not all the victims reported seeing where the gunfire came from, but there are similar descriptions of a black or dark-colored sporty sedan driven by a white male in his 30s.

Incidents have been reported in Oakland, Livingston and Ingham counties--all along Interstate 96. Citizens are asked to report any suspicious activity by calling 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
