A bouncer at a South Toledo strip club has died a week after he was punched in the parking lot.

According to the police report, 38-year-old John White was working security at Deja Vu on Saturday,  September 29.   White and another bouncer were escorting a man out of the club when the man punched both of them.

White fell and hit his head on the pavement, causing a skull fracture.  He died this past Saturday.  The other worker was not seriously hurt.

Toledo police have arrested 29-year-old Jamieius Smith.

He's facing a charge of felonius assault and is being held in the Lucas County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
