UTMC nurse resigns following botched kidney transplant

TOLEDO -- The fallout continues over the botched kidney transplant at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

A part time nurse who was involved in the incident has resigned..

She along with a full time nurse and the administrator of surgical services were suspended with pay after the August 10 surgery gone wrong.

UTMC has since suspended the kidney transplant program pending to the outcome of an investigation.
