WHITEHOUSE, OH -- Wheeler Farms put the finishing touches on its newest corn maze design – Toledo Rockets vs. Bowling Green Falcons.
The Corn Maze at the Butterfly House is 6 miles of corn covering 16 acre fields. The design of this year’s maze is to honor fall sports and education.
“We believe that for our community to prosper, we need excellent educational facilities that allow our young individuals to stay in our community.” Duke Wheeler said.
Originally by popular suggestion the 2012 design was almost modeled after book series and movie ‘The Hunger Games’. After review, Wheeler stated that the subject matter wasn’t appropriate for families.
The Toledo Rockets vs. Bowling Green Falcons project started July 15, 2012. In previous years, the corn maze has featured Crystal Bowersox, Harry Potter, The Toledo Walleye, Sarah Palin, and butterflies.
Wheeler Farm’s Corn Maze at the Butterfly House is located at 11455 Obee Rd, Whithouse, Oh - 4.5 miles south of Toledo Express Airport off Eber Road.
