TOLEDO -- Family and friends will gather Friday morning to remember the 35-year-old father killed in last Thursday's storm in Springfield Township.

Chris Zimmerman's funeral starts at 11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home on Heatherdowns Boulevard. He was the father of two small children, Seth and Tawny, and husband of six years to Kendra Zimmerman.

If you would like to help the family, monetary donations are being accepted at all local Key Bank locations. The donated money will go toward funeral costs and helping his children.

Zimmerman was killed Thursday when a storm knocked a tree on top of his car.
