MAUMEE -- In response to President Obama's two-day "Betting on America" tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania, two Republican state governors will follow the same campaign trail for their "Middle-Class Promise" tour.

At 8:30 a.m., Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty spoke in Maumee about the promises made to the American people and what they believe Obama delivered during his presidency.

"The Middle-Class Promise Gap Tour will highlight the broken promises President Obama made to middle-class Americans in Pennsylvania, Ohio and across the country, and the devastating impact of Democratic economic policies on the middle-class – from high unemployment, to the big-government takeover of health care, to America’s massive, growing debt." the Republican National Committee said in a news release.

Gov. Jindal and Pawlenty will head to Pittsburg at 10 a.m. Friday.
