Four men are in custody after police uncovered $545,000 worth of heroin during a West Toledo raid on Tuesday.

According to court documents, 37-year-old David Pedigo, the suspected main supplier of a powerful form of heroin called "China White," was arrested at his home on Burnham Avenue.

Toledo police believe the heroin may be linked to multiple overdose deaths in the area.

After the raid, authorities went to Pedigo's body shop in South Toleod and arrested three of his associates, Shane Armstrong, Michael Lee and Robert James Schaefer.

All four men faced a judge in Toledo Municipal Court on drug trafficking and possession charges. Three were released on bond.
