Suspect in girlfriend’s death arrested in Cincinnati

Cincinnati police have arrested and charged a 24-year-old man with the murder of his alleged girlfriend just after midnight on Friday.

Yesterday, the body of Jazmon Hoskins was discovered at a home in the 3100 block of Parkwood Avenue in Central Toledo. Authorities say 24-year-old Thomas Ellison, Jr. called 911 around 10:30 a.m. to say he strangled his girlfriend.

A murder warrant was issued by Toledo police for Ellison on Thursday night. He was found and arrested on the outstanding warrant in downtown Cincinnati. The investigation continues.
