The body of Junior Francous was found inside a North Toledo home on Wednesday
Police have identified the man killed during a home invasion on Wednesday afternoon in North Toledo.
Investigators say 39-year-old Junior Francous was found murdered inside a home on Bricker Avenue.
Authorities were first dispatched to the scene, just after 1 p.m., after receiving a call about a home invasion.
When officials arrived at the scene they found a woman, outside, suffering from a head wound.
Unsure if the suspect was inside a SWAT team was called in and just before the 3 p.m. they entered the home to find Francous’ body.
Investigators believe the gunman stole a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix to flee the scene with the license plate number EZK-5290.
As of Wednesday evening the suspect was still at-large.
