Police have identified the man killed during a home invasion on Wednesday afternoon in North Toledo.

Investigators say 39-year-old Junior Francous was found murdered inside a home on Bricker Avenue.

Authorities were first dispatched to the scene, just after 1 p.m.,  after receiving a call about a home invasion.

When officials arrived at the scene they found a woman, outside, suffering from a  head wound.

Unsure if the suspect was inside a SWAT team was called in and just before the 3 p.m. they entered the home to find Francous’ body.

Investigators believe the gunman stole a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix to flee the scene with the license plate number EZK-5290.
