While seat belt use is at its highest rate in years, Lucas County law enforcement wants to see 100 percent of people buckled up for the annual "Click It or Ticket" campaign.

State and local safety officials will join law enforcement agencies across the nation on Monday for the aggressive seat belt enforcement campaign, which lasts until June 3.

The national Click It or Ticket campaign aims to increase seat belt use and reduce highway fatalities by raising public awareness of the life-saving benefits of wearing one's seat belt.
