DELTA -- The small community of Delta is getting hit with a dose of economic reality.

Graham Packaging Company notified the state Tuesday that it's closing its plastic container making factory in Delta this summer. That means 65 workers will lose their jobs.

The Pennsylvania based company says it will begin layoffs on July 1 and should end by September 30.  They will then dismantle the equipment and close the plant.
