PORT CLINTON -- A 48-year-old Oak Harbor man was indicted on two counts of rape and 29 child pornography charges on Thursday.
Alan L. Ault was arrested late Tuesday on two counts of rape involving a victim less than 10 years of age. Both counts are unclassified felonies, punishable by life imprisonment without parole.
Investigators discovered 200 still photos and videos of child pornography on computers in his possession, as well as photos of two minor females known to Ault. He is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with one of those females, who is under the age of 10.
Ault is being held without bond in the Ottawa County Detention Facility.
