Three of the four Republicans vying for the presidency were campaigning in delegate-rich Ohio on Saturday ahead Tuesday’s primary.

Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich were in Bowling Green in Saturday evening, both speaking at the 5th Congressional district's Lincoln day dinner.

“I am not someone, when the climate changes that I change…Whether I am running in a general or a primary, whether I am running in one state or another,” Santorum said.

While the former Pennsylvania Senator and the former Speaker of the House both spoke to the same 750 attendees, gathered at BGSU’s student union, they did not appear together.

Gingrich spoke first and was welcomed by a standing ovation.

Following his remarks, Gingrich left and then Santorum entered the venue.

One thing both Gingrich and Santorum did do is vocalize criticism of President Barack Obama.

“I think that a re-elected Barack Obama, having proven how radical he is…proven how much he’s willing to run up deficits and I think proven how much he wants to centralize power in Washington, for him to now succeed in being re-elected, I believe that a second term would be extraordinarily destructive,” Gingrich said.

Event organizers say all the GOP candidates were invited to attend the event.

On Saturday, Romney appeared at a town-hall style meeting in Dayton.

Ron Paul spent the day campaigning in Washington state as its Republican Presidential caucuses were held.
