SYLVANIA -- A Sylvania elementary school student has been suspended after reports he brought a BB gun to school.
Sylvania Township police say staff members at the boy's day care center found the pellet gun in his backpack on Monday.
Investigators believe the fourth grade student at Central Elementary School had the weapon with him during class on Monday but it wasn't until at the child's after school daycare that it was found.
Sylvania Schools says the boy will remain on suspension until an investigation is complete.
