TOLEDO -- The owner of the North Toledo bar where six patrons were gunned down on Feb. 5 was sentenced to six months in jail on Thursday for unrelated charges.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 31-year-old Hallal Joseph pleaded guilty in September to falsely denying his knowledge of a terrorist funding operation to federal authorities. His sister and her husband reportedly tried to send money to a terrorist group overseas.

The federal judge ordered that Hallal serve the maximum sentence on Monday.

Less than a week ago, the city of Toledo was granted a temporary restraining order to shut down Joseph's business, Mugshots Bar and Grill.
