Sylvania Schools offers full-day kindergarten for any child aged 5 years on or before August 1, 2012 residing in the Sylvania Schools boundary area. The district will host a series of parent information nights to provide more specific and in-depth information. Below are the dates and times for each location:

- January 24            7:00 pm                Central Elementary
- January 25            7:00 pm                Stranahan Elementary
- January 26            7:00 pm                Sylvan Elementary
- January 30            7:00 pm                Whiteford Elementary
- January 31            7:00 pm                Hill View Elementary
- February 1            7:00 pm                Highland Elementary
- February 2            7:00 pm                Maplewood Elementary

Registration details, sign up information, as well as a chance to meet the principal and teachers and tour the school will be part of the evening at each of the school locations. A community resource fair will also be set up at the school for parents to learn about activities and programs available in the Sylvania area.
