The 2012 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic matchup between the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers will start Monday on WNWO at 3 p.m., rather than the original 1 p.m. start time.
The NHL announced the move Sunday in response to warmer-than-expected weather conditions. Pregame coverage will still begin at 1 p.m. with interviews, features and other content.
Bob Costas, Mike Milbury and Jeremy Roenick are scheduled to handle NBC Sports' pregame coverage of the big outdoor event at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia.
