BOSTON -- The columnist who exposed the Penn State child sex-abuse scandal back in April claims he has even more dirt on the football team: Jerry Sandusky's Second Mile Foundation "[pimped] out young boys to rich (Penn State) donors."
Mark Madden told the Dennis & Callahan Morning Show on WEEI sports radio it's also evident that the entire football community knew and continued to cover it up after Sandusky's sudden retirement in 1999.
"When Sandusky quit, everybody knew; not just at Penn State. It was a very poorly kept secret around college football, in general. That is why he never coached in college football again and retired at the relatively young age of 55, young for a coach." Madden said.
Could the man who broke the scandal be right about a rumor that could break down more than Penn State's football mess? Listen to the full interview: WEEI Sports Radio.
