TOLEDO -- Chrysler is making a big announcement next week about its future plans for the North Toledo Assembly Plant.

We've already told you the automaker filed paperwork with the state seeking to expand the factory and create more than 1,100 new jobs.

The announcement is expected sometime next Wednesday.

Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur has been invited to the event.

Governor John Kasich will be in town that day but his office would not confirm if it was for the Chrysler press conferecne.

We'll keep you posted.
