A young Findlay man was arrested Monday night for allegedly killing his wife of less than 2 years.

Findlay Police say they first responded to the Findlay home of Danielle and Evan Donoho, late Monday afternoon, after family members called to report the couple missing.

Authorities were told that Danielle Donoho’s children, a 13-year-old and 6-year-old, were both accounted for but the newlyweds had not been seen or heard from since Monday morning.

Investigators say they were quickly able to locate Evan Donoho at another home in Findlay.

The 26-year-old was taken in for questioning, but by Monday night was arrested and charged with his wife’s murder.

Police have not released why they decided to file charges before a Danielle Donoho was located.

The 29-year-old’s body was discovered on Tuesday morning at a field off Township Road 168 in Hancock County.

A cause of death has not yet been released and an autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.

Officials say Evan Donoho has "no prior criminal history" and, according to photos on his Facebook page, it appears he has an affiliation with the military.

A Toledo Blade article found that Mr. Donoho joined the U.S. Army in 2008 and served with the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Infantry Division based at Fort Knox, KY.

According to Danielle Donoho's Facebook page, the couple just celebrated their one year wedding anniversary.

On the social networking site, Danielle Donoho wrote the couple's anniversary was "March 27, 2010."
