Pedestrian killed by train in Fulton County

DELTA, OH -- A pedestrian is dead after they were hit by a train near the Village of Delta.

It happened around noon Tuesday near County Road 11 behind the North Star Steel Plant.

Authorities say the victim was standing on the tracks when they were hit by an east bound Northfolk and Southern train.

The victim's name, age and gender have not been released.
