For nearly 60 seasons, Fremont Speedway, located on the historic Sandusky County Fairgrounds in Fremont, Ohio, has hosted auto races on Saturday nights.

The 3/8 mile dirt oval has seen some of the biggest names in motorsports compete on it's clay over the course of those seasons.  It's tricky surface, tight straightaways and corners produce great side by side action earning the track it's nickname, "The Track That Action Built".

The fan and family friendly atmosphere brings folks back week after week...and it's not uncommon to have three generations of families in the pits...or in the stands.

For more information about Fremont Speedway, and to see a schedule of upcoming events, you can visit their website, www.fremontohspeedway.com.

Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio works in conjunction with Fremont Speedway holding thier race programs on Friday nights.  NBC24 is sponsoring a night at the Attica Fairgrounds on August 21st.  You can enter to win tickets to NBC24 night at Attica by visiting our Contest Corner.
